Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, better known by her stage name Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American singer and actress. She is also a comic and radio show host. She is known also being the mother of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and the mother of comic Raul Vale. Her name is associated with the creation of La Balada Ranchera, a music genre that reached the top of charts in 1973. This led Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist to sell two millions of records in the United States. In 1974, she began dating Venezuelan comedian and singer Raul Vale whom she married in April of 1975. It was the first wedding that was shown on TV in Mexico.
